Collection "Valter" combines the aesthetic appeal of innovative design with the natural beauty and warmth of wood as the primary and the only material. It is made from solid Oak, Mahogany or Walnut. All materials are eco-friendly and certified. Unique and creative shapes reveal the textures of the wood, highlighting its beauty.

The German Design Awards are the premium prizes of the German Design Council. With its global scope and international appeal, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape across all industries.


Since 2012, the German Design Awards have been identifying key design trends, presenting them to a broad public and honouring them. Extraordinary submissions in product design, communications design and architecture are selected each year.

 

The "Winner" distinction of the "German Design Awards" recognise outstanding and exemplary design achievements in the context of a specific category.

Statement of the jury:
Made entirely from solid wood, the 'Valter' stool does not require any metal connections, as the legs and seat are simply screwed together using strong wooden threads. A captivatingly simple, minimalist design.

What makes "VALTER" so special?

The key part of this collection is it`s unusual, yet very simple assembly method – wooden screw.

This assembly method makes it a lot easyer to store it if You need some extra space in living room. Also it saves a lot of space in transport, materials on packaging, reducing overall shipping costs. The wooden screw is made so precise, it is even fun to assemble it - no bolts and nuts, just screw it in and enjoy wonderful family dinner, while being amazed by beauty of this astonishing collection.

Finishing

There has been used PVA glue for joints and for finishing - Osmo oil. Osmo oils are very environment friendly and made from natural ingredients. There are no plastic or metal parts in this collection.
